hmmm... these don't look much different that the old never released set... but I got a question: I see the elder gods sign on the dice - is it a substitute for the max or the min value? and will the dice include also the yellow sign also as a substitute for max/min value? if so - which one will be which?

The Elder Sign replaces max values on all dice.

Yea ... the font is different ... and there is a bit more detail to the tenacles ... also the yellow sign is no longer used

Overall ... I prefer these ... if for no other reason ... they are easier to read for my old tired eyes :)

Of course, these will be available in all color schemes, not just black-yellow.

We will have these at our GenCon booth, so you folks can come and see them in action.

If I'm honest, I find these dice rather awkward to read, and probably wouldn't use them despite the cthulhu theme.

And that's why you have our dice, to protect you once they are here. What's the point of having magic signs if there are no Great Old Ones around ? :P

Of course there's two camps of thought as to what the elder sign actually looks like. This is the star with the little flame inside version, but there's also one that looks like a rather sparse tree with branches and stuff.
