Another Necron D6 design

This is my concept for Necron D6 dice.

I got only one question -- is it possible to carve such small border drawings as my on a 1/2" die?

Hmmm... that would be tough but I guess could be done, although I would suggest a bit bigger size than 1/2" - 14mm as Orky dice.


You could think about altering the inner symbols as well - maybe turning them by 45 degrees (as face "2") would do them some good..

OK, then I'll better stick to 14mm or even 16mm.

Turning the glyphs? Hmm.. I'll try, but it would make glyphs look strange and not so Necronish :] Maybe I'll redesign the 2nd glyph to make it straight as the rest.

Besides, how much would it cost for 25 dice? For 100? For 500? I plan to cooperate with other players on a Necron forum to make the order more reasonable. A relative price table would be perfect :]

The main cost is creating the tools to create the dice.

We can do 25 dice for about 5 $ per piece, 100 for about 3 - 3,5 $, the cost of 500 to 1000 is approx about 2$ per dice.

I have Necron dice from another source but they dont really compare to these (above) beauties

How would these dice be used? ... Just count the circles as pips?

I'm very proud that you like the design. It was a modreate pain in the arse for me to design the markings and the border glyphs :]
I will surely make an order, but to make it cost-effective I decided to wait for a couple of months to collect a minimum order of 500 dice.

These look good.

May I suggest that the circles have slightly thicker lines, or the straight lines be thinner (like the boarder) so that they are slightly more easy to distinguish? (maybe do both?)

Or we can have the holes that are meant to be pips filled.. that might work as well.
